Adrian Othon – CCU President

Adrian has over 25 years of operational and senior management experience in the utility construction business. Administratively, he is well versed in contract administration, change order administration, materials procurement, cost control, quality control, scheduling, recruitment/hiring, and managing multiple levels of and numbers of personnel. From an operational perspective, Adrian has extensive experience in Design Build, Competitive Bidding, Value Engineering, Progress Scheduling and Owner/Contractor Negotiations, Power Distribution/Transmission, CATV, Telecommunications, Water and Sewer, Gas, Traffic Signalization/ITS and Heavy Civil sectors. Over the course of his career, he has managed hundreds of construction projects. He graduated from FIU with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.

Judith Aranguren
Corporate Controller

Judith has over 20 years of experience in accounting in both public and private sectors. Most recently she has held roles in Corporate Finance, SEC Reporting and Financial Systems Implementation.
She currently holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Masters of Taxation from Florida International University.

James McCoy
Vice President, GC

Jay has over 20 years experience in the construction industry and is a licensed contractor in multiple states. His experience includes everything from underground utilities to high rise construction.

Frank Telfort
Vice President, Electric Qualifier

Frank has over 30 years experience as an electrical contractor for commercial, residential and industrial services and holds the state certified license for CCU.

Marisa Santos
Director of Human Resources

Marisa Santos has worked in our company for over six years. Her responsibilities include benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and compensation. She earned a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Florida International University.

Paul Dunleavy
Director of Field Operations

Paul has over 34 years experience in the telecommunications industry specializing in HFC-Design and Construction. He is a Certified Fiber Optic Technician and NCTI Master Technician.

Ericka Pereira
Director of Account Receivables

Ericka has over 15 years of experience overseeing processes and personnel related to the Receivables function including: billing, collecting and reconciling accounts. She graduated from FIU’s College of Business and received her PMP certification from UM.
